So you're thinking about therapy?

That's wonderful!  It takes a lot of courage to reach for help when you need it and to work towards becoming the person you want to be.  I'm would be honored to help you get there.

Everyone has times that are so challenging we need support navigating them.  For some of us it's depression or anxiety, for others it may be confusion about what we want to do next, and for some it is simply wanting more from life. A client brought the idea Kintsugi or Kintsukuroi into session one day.  It stuck me as a beautiful metaphor for therapy.  Kintsugi (to patch with gold) or Kintsukuroi (to repair with gold) is the Japanese art of fixing broken pottery with a resin mixed with powdered gold.  The belief is that the object is more valuable for having history, for having been broken and repaired.  

 

You may find yourself feeling broken, but you can repair in a way that will leave you stronger and more beautiful than you were before.
